Channel drains catch water that travels as a sheet — the kind that rides a driveway into a garage. They are a capture device. The system still needs slope, pipe, and a place to exit.
Garage flooding is rarely solved by a longer downspout. If the driveway pitches toward the door, water will keep coming until a linear drain interrupts it and a conveyance line carries it away. We set channel elevation to the slab, not to a guess, and we do not leave the outlet as an afterthought.
Where it belongs
- Driveway runoff into the garage
- Patio and pool-deck drainage
- Walkway sheet flow
- Hardscape edges
The product is not the pipe. The product is a designed path — source, capture, movement, discharge, restoration.
